However, an Engineer from Alibaba tweeted with a hope for iOS 11.3 jailbreak tool. Alibaba Engineer Min Zheng confirmed that Apple has failed to patch a 0day bug when moving to the iOS 11.3 and a kernel level bug also survived in iOS 11.3 release. Not only that, he was successfully achieved a root shell on iOS 11.3.

Min Zheng was finally succeed at exploiting one of the vulnerabilities he found. He was able to achieve a root shell on iOS 11.3 as it seems. It could be the key guys. It could be the key for iOS 11.3 jailbeak we are waiting for.

Just after a short break, he is again at the top of the jailbreak community as he was published the proof of concept for iOS 11.3 jailbreak exploit. He discovered the exploit in February and according to Beer himself, the new exploit is "MacOS/iOS ReportCrash mach port replacement due to failure to respect MIG ownership rules". I know that it doesn't ring a bell once you read it, but what's important is some hacker could lead this to a jailbreak for iOS 11.3 and lower versions as iOS 11.3.1 includes a patch for this vulnerability.

Project Moon : iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak Demoed

Security researcher Qixun Zhao (@S0rryMybad) of Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team published a video of iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak using a tool called Project Moon.
